YOGA
The style of Yoga that we practice at our Centers is called Dahn
Yoga. “Dahn” means vital energy, and “Yoga”
means union. Dahn Yoga is an integrated mind-body training method
originally derived from Oriental Medicine. A typical class will
include deep stretching exercises, meditative breathing, and energy
awareness training. Other exercises include: Meridian/Organ tapping,
Intestine exercises, and Brain Wave Vibration. In addition to
creating health, happiness and peace, Dahn Yoga’s objective
is to help practitioners achieve their highest level of personal
development through better understanding how to use their body
and their brain.
Dahn Mu Do Tai Chi
Dahn Mu Do is an energy-based, non-combative form of Internal
Martial Arts originating from
Traditional Korean Tai Chi called Shin Sun Do. The goal of practicing
Dahn Mu Do is self mastery and attaining complete health of body,
mind, and spirit. Using dynamic forms, detailed joint and muscle
exercises as well as free form movements, Dahn Mu Do satisfies
both the power and the freedom that our body needs. The ultimate
goal of practicing Dahn Mu Do, is to develop the energy and the
awareness to create the life we want.
BRAIN
WAVE VIBRATION
Brain Wave Vibration training helps you reawaken your natural
healing abilities by awakening your brain stem. Your brain stem
is critical to your health because it is the area of your brain
that controls breathing, heart rate, stress response, and the
other automatic functions of the body.
Brain
Wave Vibration can be done in many various ways, and each class
will use some time to practice one form of Brain Wave Vibration.
